Without a doubt, a unique experience in close contact with these fascinating beings, in their natural environment where you can almost touch them and dance with them in the Aegean Sea. However, we must inform you that the diving team will do everything possible to help you meet these magical animals, but they are still wild creatures and it might happen that they don’t feel like being found, let alone swimming and playing with you. Don’t be disappointed; it will still be a wonderful and fun “day out.”
The excursion is also a moment of discovery of the magnificent island of Kalymnos with its enchanting hidden coves and its clear blue sea.
First, you need to reach Mastichari port on the island of Kos if you are not staying directly on Kalymnos. Starting from 8.00 AM, there are boats connecting the two islands.
Select the one departing at 8.00/9.00 from Kos and arriving in Kalymnos at 8.30/9.30.
At Kalymnos port, the diving team will be waiting for you and will accompany you to the boat for your day at sea around the island. You will visit all the areas where dolphins are accustomed to staying, and with a bit of luck, you can enjoy their company as they frolic in the majestic Aegean Sea. After visiting other stunning coves where you can snorkel, you will head to the small island of Pserimos, a true paradise of peace and tranquility. Here, you can stop and, if you wish, eat at one of the taverns directly on the beach with your feet in the sand, take a swim, or simply relax in the sun.
After basking under the warm Greek sun and discovering the flora and fauna, you will head back to Kalymnos from Pserimos, usually arriving around 17.00. From Kalymnos, for those staying on Kos, there are ferries at various times. You might decide to take the last one and enjoy some excellent fresh fish from the island, famous for its delicious seafood products as it has been home to fishermen for generations.
